Practice of expressive painting using the techniques of a famous artist. This term we will be looking into creating landscape paintings using the mark making process of Vincent Van Gogh to music.

This lesson will be all about wet felting, we will either use a landscape design from our previous lesson or a new one to create our very own felt art piece.

In this class we will be using recycled materials and different types of paper and card to make collages of choice. We will be looking at different collage artists for inspiration. This is designed to be free flow to allow scope for greater creative thinking and freedom in what they make.

In this lesson we will be looking at the process of illustration. Inspired by our favourite book we will recreate one of the pages in the style of the illustrator.

This lesson we will be using clay to sculpt using a design we have made. This lesson is a FOLLOW ON lesson for next week where we will then paint our sculptures.

Painting our project from last week.

This lesson we will be using vegetables to print with. This lesson will provide understanding of pattern relief and how this translates into prints we see on clothes and furnishings. We will be thinking about geometric shapes and how to arrange these into a cohesive design.

This lesson we will be completely free flow. Fun creative materials will be laid out, such as air dry clay, collage, pencils, paints. Children can pick and choose what they would like to make in their last lesson. Think fun Music creating and certificates!
